BK Gatsby Theme Party 2022 : A Year-End Cheers & Gratitude

After years of battling COVID-19, Bangko Kabayan celebrated its year-end party face to face last December 17, 2022, with the theme, "BK Gatsby Theme Party 2022: A Year-End Cheers & Gratitude." It was held at Rosario Resort and Hotel in Quilib, Rosario Batangas.

This event was facilitated by the HR Department with the help of the selected program committee from different departments and branches. The night was full of glamour as the employees wore their best Gatsby attire and delightfully roamed around to meet their friends and coworkers.

The program started with a prayer led by Ms. Gloria Gonzalvo. Then followed with warm welcome remarks by President Beatriz Romulo who took the chance to extend her appreciation for the employee's hard work and dedication over the years.

BK Band made the whole night more lively. This band consisted of talents from different departments. They bring so much joy and fun to the employees and were able to set the audience's mood and vibe.

The party’s highlight was the BK GOT TALENT. The participants of the said contest were the representative of the bank's various clusters, Cluster 1 (Central Branches), Cluster 2 (Western Branches), Cluster 3 (Eastern Branches), Exec 1 (Head Office - 2nd floor), and Exec 2 (Head Office - Ground and 3rd floor). While the judges were President Beatriz Romulo, Chief Financial Officer Liza Mercado, and Chief Operating Officer Leandro Ofrecio.

The most awaited part of the program was the cash raffle draw. It was conducted via an electronic spin the wheel app. All the employees were excited to see their names on the screen, and most of the employees were lucky to bring home the minor and major cash prizes.

Chief Operating Officer Leandro Ofrecio gave his year-end message and announced the BK Got Talent Grand Winner and Best Gatsby Attire for the Male and Female categories. The BK Got Talent Grand Winner was given and awarded to Cluster 1 (Central Branches). Best Male Gatsby Attire was awarded to Loujen Latoza from Ibaan Branch, and the Best Female Gatsby Attire was awarded to Katherine Castillo from Calaca Branch.

After the announcement of the awardees, employees continued to party and socialize with each other. Everyone sang along with the band and captured their unforgettable experience. It was indeed a cheer of gratitude to be one of the team after the pandemic.
