Learning is a cornerstone of success, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This principle drove the participants of Bangko Kabayan’s Entrep Eskwela 2024 to dedicate their time and effort to attend sessions designed to transform livelihoods into thriving entrepreneurial ventures.

The BK Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Department spearheaded the program by training new facilitators with entrepreneurial expertise from various bank departments and units. To ensure participants’ comfort and engagement, sessions were held at site-based venues conducive to creative thinking and business development.

Entrep Eskwela catered to a diverse group, including BK Microfinance clients, regular loan clients, depositors, and potential clients engaged in industries such as farming (fruits, vegetables, rice crops, fish, and animal farming), manufacturing, and service businesses.

The program unfolded in two key locations:
  1. Candelaria, Quezon (June 18–24, 2024):
    • Participants from Brgy. Kinatihan and Brgy. Pahinga Sur attended a 3-day session culminating in a graduation ceremony at Brgy. Kinatihan Uno.
    • Certificates of Completion were awarded to 12 farmer-entrepreneurs, while 9 participants received Certificates of Attendance.
