Brgy. Anibong at Pagsanjan, Laguna has been gifted with spring water. The residents and its nearby barangays were able to benefit from it as their source of daily water needs. However, the place had caused accidents to residents due to muddy and slippery surfaces.
Last August 25, 2021, BK Pagsanjan responded to the needs of Brgy. Anibong through the help of Bangko Kabayan Foundation, Inc. The group aims to concrete the rough floor and build a watershed and water tank made of eco-bricks to store the spring water and preserve its freshness. About 130 pieces of eco-bricks were used for the said project. Brgy. Anibong also donated a used galvanized roof for the protection of the people who get water from the spring.
Protecting the source water also safeguards the public from health risk and through this joint efforts of the volunteer community workers of Brgy. Anibong and Bangko Kabayan, water protection and safety of the people was achieved.
