After so many years of not having a recollection during the season of Lent, Bangko Kabayan had the opportunity to experience this essential activity for this special year. On March 24, 2021, at 4 pm via Zoom, a simple but meaningful session was facilitated by Mr. Mimo Perez, a consciousness expansion teacher. This year theme was “LONGING FOR THE HOLY: Finding Rest in God” - an opportunity to come home to God, with ourselves, and with the people, we live and work with.
This memorable session aims to recognize one’s restlessness as an indication of longing for God, to rediscover one’s spiritual well-being in these uncertain times, and to renew personal and professional zeal for service and mission. Through this session, BK family was united in experiencing spiritual rest and rediscovering what matters most in everyone’s life.
