Learning has never been this fun. Participants made waves as they embark on a wonderful journey shifting from livelihood into the entrepreneurial world during the 11th and 12th Entrep Eskwela.
The 4 day session Entrep Eskwela provided opportunities to some of BK’s microfinance and SME loan clients and depositors engaged in manufacturing businesses to further improve their business through product development.
The first batch of participants came from the municipalities of Calaca, Balayan, Nasugbu and Calatagan, composed of 13 entrepreneurs who received certificate of completion and 2 for certificate of attendance. The sessions were held at Immaculate Conception College, Balayan, Batangas which was concluded last July 5, 2019.
The members of next batch of learners are from different municipalities and cities in Batangas such as Ibaan, Lipa City, Batangas City, San Jose, Mabini, Cuenca, Tanauan as well as from Sariaya Quezon. Certificate of completion were awarded to 22 entrepreneurs while 7 received certificate of attendance. The graduation ceremony held on September 6, 2019 at Canossa Academy Lipa, San Carlos, Lipa City concluded the Entrep Eskwela.
Entrepreneurs from previous batches who significantly grew their businesses due to improved product development like Edna Dimayuga for her Banana Chips, Couple Ruel and Jade Calingasan for their Woody Bags Mushroom and Couple Ronald and Janeth Pedraza for their Pickled Quail Eggs were featured. These entrepreneurs served as inspiration of the new graduates.
BKFI Chairman of the Board Linda R. Lejano and BKFI President, Teresa M. Ganzon were present during the graduation ceremonies to show their support to the graduates. BKFI ED Gaye Gonzalvo extended special thanks to the supportive Co-Facilitators Gerneil Rivera, Jonalyn Napa, Nimrod Dela Pena and Neil Marundan.
The final output for the training is the creation of business plan which all the participants successfully accomplished.
