In order to prevent theft in a narrow and dark road of Barangay Tubigan, Lemery, Batangas, Some volunteers from Bangko Kabayan, Barangay Officials and residents helped to set street light using solar panels last October 13, 2018. Volunteers used eco-bricks to build the foundation of the light. The eco-bricks are plastic bottles filled with non-biodegradable waste or various types of plastic wastes such as candy skin and used materials in constructions. It is called zero-cost solid waste solution that anyone can do to help save the environment. For more information, you can visit www.ecobricks.org.
