One of the unforgettable chapterin Bangko Kabayan history took place last September 7, 2018. Approximately five thousand (5,000) active members of KAPITAN (Kapinasan ng mga Ilaw ng Tahanan) gathered at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan Laguna to celebrate the 18th founding anniversary of microfinance program under Bangko Kabayan.
Clients from the provincesof Batangas, Laguna and Quezon showcased their own products and talents through "Kapitan Tiange" and Street Dance Competition respectively. Everyone got starstrucked when Mr. Martin del Rosario came out of the stage and serenaded the crowd.
During this event, Bangko Kabayan recognized individuals and centers who showed their 100% commitment and support to the microfinance program. Certificates and cash prizes were awarded to them. Groceries, gift certificates and siomai/siopao business are also given as part of the event’s raffle.
