Our country had one of the longest lockdowns in the world concerning the COVID-19. After two years of strict lockdown, all the gatherings were stopped to prevent the spread of the virus.
Mid of March 2022 when the quarantine restriction eases, the program organizers requested for the approval of the BK management and the LGU of Ibaan to conduct an Inter Color basketball league among its employees, and this was unanimously approved. The said league started last April 8, 2022. The opening program was attended by Ms. Mayet Patal (Risk Officer) and CSG Head Dr. Roldan Ragot as they supported this program.
The league was composed of 6 teams wherein each team consisted of BK employees and employees of BK outsourced agencies.. The program was organized by Conrad Miranda (IFAH), Kevin Torino (Account Manager), and Carlo Dimaano (CPSU Head) with their advisory BBG Head Rey Orense.
This program supports BK’s HR welfare program which is to promote the well-being of employees’ through work-life balance programs and activities.
