Last September 24, 2018, in cooperation with the officials and residents of Barangay Nangkaan, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas, Bangko Kabayan Foundation Inc.(BKFI) with its volunteers, helped the community to build a four (4) kilometer long ladder comprised of 1,000 steps made of eco-bricks. The ladder is intended for use of young students on their everyday walk to and from school. The eco-bricks were collaboratively developed by employees and clients from various branches of Bangko Kabayan. This project is a zero-cost solid waste management solution that anyone can do to help save the environment.
