Bangko Kabayan Opens its 21st Branch

Responding to the clarion call of BSP, urging the private sector to develop solutions toward financial inclusion, Bangko Kabayan opened its 21st branch to cater to MSMEs in Talisay, Batangas, last April 18, 2016.

The opening ceremony, graced with the presence of some municipal officers of Talisay, Bangko Kabayan’s big bosses, Area Heads, Branch Managers and some prospective clients. It’s started with a simple mass followed by the blessing of the branch premises. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Edilberto Cabrera.

Afterwards, Atty. Francis S. Ganzon, with his usual warm approach, welcomed everyone present at the event, gave a brief history of BK and formally introduced the BKs products and services that will now be available and accessible to all Taliseños who wants a more friendly, personalized and quality financial services.

The main objective of establishing the branch is to help and support the MSME's in Talisay, since there is a great number of prospective clients in the area, in consonance with the BSP’s promotion of financial inclusion, which is actually a worldwide thrust spearheaded by the World Bank which sees it as “a key enabler to reducing poverty and boosting prosperity.”

The  Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Rogen Macalintal, who has been with BK for several years already, expressed his excitement to lead his team – Ms. Maryjoy Villanueva (BOH), Ms. Nelly Joy Marasigan (Teller) and Mr. Marvic Dayrit (CDS) – in facing the new opportunities and challenges ahead of them.
