IRBFI conducts Entrep Eskwela

To continue with its mission in educating micro-entrepreneurs on managing their businesses well, Ibaan Rural Bank Foundation, Inc. (IRBFI), the social arm of Bangko Kabayan (BK), conducted Entrep-Eskwela for selected microfinance clients and depositors at Casa Cecilia, Taal, Batangas for four (4) Fridays of September.

Entrep-Eskwela, a combination of the words “entrepreneur” and “eskwela” (school), is a complete course on grassroots entrepreneurship composed of lessons on self mastery, enterprise mastery, and situation mastery. It is a course open for microfinance clients and depositors of BK endorsed by the branch managers.

There were 22 clients who participated on the Entrep-Eskwela – three (3) clients from the Nasugbu branch, Calaca branch, Lemery branch, Mabini branch, Calatagan branch, and Agoncillo branch and five (5) from Cuenca branch.

This year's Entrep-Eskwela was facilitated by seven (7) employees of BK namely Gerneil Rivera, MF Human Resource and Operations Head, Regie Barcelon, Jhona Nepomuceno and Marites Torino, MF Supervisors, Gaye Gonzalvo, Administrative Officer, Charisma Ronquillo, MF Bookkeeper, and Frances Bathan, Operations Analyst.
